NWA Healthy Marriages
Almost everyone wishes to have a happy marriage, but nearly half of all marriages end in divorce. Sadly, 54% of the marriages in Northwest Arkansas fail.
The mission of NWA Healthy Marriages is to prepare unmarried couples for successful healthy marriages and to strengthen existing marriages in Northwest Arkansas. The Center for Relationship Enrichment received a $2.7 million federal grant from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families to support research and development of healthy marriages in Northwest Arkansas.
Over a 5-year period, NWA Healthy Marriages will work to equip over 13,000 couples in Northwest Arkansas to build and sustain healthy, satisfying and lifelong marriages.
We partnered with NWA Healthy Marriages to create nwamarriages.com. This website plays an important role in the organization’s effort. For many individuals or couples, the website is the first introduction to NWA Healthy Marriages. Items on the site include information about the program, volunteer opportunities, and a community events calendar. Additionally, visitors use the website to sign up for free and paid events, take interactive marriage quizzes, and access a wide variety of resources intended to inspire and equip couples to experience healthy marriages.
We have also helped NWA Healthy Marriages promote their effort through other promotional materials, including booth displays, print advertisements, and testimonial videos.
