La Puerta NWA
LaPuertaNWA.com is a new service for the Hispanic community in Northwest Arkansas. The website offers a wide variety of community information, resources, and tools to help Spanish-speaking individuals feel right at home in Northwest Arkansas.
We have worked with this new company from its beginning to create its identity, develop the website, and communicate its message throughout the area. We are proud of our partnership with La Puerta NWA, and we are excited to see the website continue to grow into a valuable tool for our Hispanic community.
We designed the La Puerta NWA logo to illustrate the open door to success and prosperity that Northwest Arkansas offers Spanish-speaking individuals and families. The tagline “¡La Puerta de Noroeste de Arkansas para su familia!” is translated “Your Family's Door to Northwest Arkansas!”
This website is full of features designed to attract traffic and to keep users returning to the website. These include:

- Information on Immigration, Business, and Community Services
- A Community Calendar of Events
- Free Classifieds
- Free Business Directory
The website is bilingual — allowing users to select between Spanish and English at any time, on any page. Additionally, signing up for a free membership allows website users to post calendar events, classified listings, and business directory listings.
Behind the scenes, the site operates on a Content Management System (CMS), which allows La Puerta NWA to update content, add pages and features, and manage users. Additionally, the La Puerta NWA staff uses the CMS to manage the banner advertising system that exists across the entire website.
Collateral materials such as business cards, flyers, and advertisements allow La Puerta NWA to spread the word about the website and to begin to establish an identity in the local area.
