A New Day

Monday, March 16th, 2009

Today is an exciting day at Adair Creative Group.

We are now open for business from our new studio at 215 South Main Street in Bentonville. The paint is still drying, and there are boxes yet to be unpacked. But we have internet, coffee, and computers, so we’re busy at work. We are excited to be here in historic downtown Bentonville, and our door is always open if you are in the neighborhood.

In case one new thing is not enough, we also welcome Nic Taylor to our staff today as a Designer. Nic most recently worked as a designer at Walmart, and we are so excited to have him join us. Nic will be responsible for many areas of design, including logos, print materials, ads, and website interfaces. Welcome Nic!

Ireland Office Open For Business

Monday, March 9th, 2009

Well, sort of. We’re thrilled to welcome Mark Guinn to our staff today. Mark lives in and works from Newcastle, Northern Ireland. That means that we have a lot of email, instant messaging, and video chatting in our future.

I have known Mark for years, and we have collaborated on many projects over that time. He is a very talented web developer, and his expertise will continue to expand the quality of the web product we offer. He is particularly skilled at creating custom database-driven applications, content managed websites, and e-commerce solutions.

To learn a bit more about Mark, check out our staff page.

Looking For A Designer

Friday, February 13th, 2009

We are looking for an awesome designer with an awesome attitude to join our team full-time. The designer should be able and willing to design for both traditional and new mediums. Traditional design projects include logo/identity, print collateral, and advertising design. New mediums include website front-end and back-end interfaces, with an occasional CD-ROM or DVD interface thrown in. At ACG, we do a lot of web work, so it is very important that the designer maintains an understanding of web development standards, technologies, and trends in order to effectively design for the web. But you don’t need to know how to code.

We are a small and laid back company, but we take our work very seriously. We value hard work, integrity, and delivering creative solutions that fulfill our brand promise “We Make Stuff That Makes You Look Good”. If you would like to apply, please send your resume and a portfolio of your best work to david@adaircreative.com.

DennisJernigan.com Launches

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

We recently launched dennisjernigan.com, a completely redesigned website for Christian worship songwriter and artist Dennis Jernigan. Dennis’ songs are widely sung across the country and globe, and he is recognized as “America’s lead worshipper”.

We are proud of this site, as it include a little bit of everything. The website is built on a Content Management System, and the online store is powered by a store application that we have authored from the ground up. The website features a blog with many videos from Dennis, a song finder for finding one of his many songs, and a new service called DJ Insiders. DJ Insiders is a monthly subscription service that provides behind-the-scenes access to Dennis, daily devotions, special video features, free MP3 downloads, and more.

We put a little extra love into this project, as our web developer Israel is Dennis’ oldest of nine children. Israel did an awesome job of programming this complex site.

On a personal and slightly humorous note…when I was in high school in the 90′s, my ska band did a cover of Dennis’ “You Are My All In All”. Thankfully, I don’t know of any known recordings that could come back to haunt me.

You can see the site here.

It’s About Time

Friday, October 24th, 2008

For months I have wanted to create a new website for Adair Creative Group. It was getting downright embarrassing to be a company that makes websites, while having such a sparse site of our own. You see, we’ve been busy, and this kept our site at the bottom of the list.

So finally…we are pleased to officially launch our new website today.

The biggest improvement is that we now have a portfolio section to show off our work. This is the main thing people want to see on our site, and now you have it. With this website, we are also introducing our slightly altered logo and the new color scheme will will use on ACG materials.

Our brand promise “We make stuff that makes you look good.” has not changed since day one, so this tagline still has a prominent place on the homepage.

Thanks are due to Israel for his hard work on this project.

Tell me what you think…if it’s nice.

A Few Recent Projects

Monday, July 28th, 2008

Here are some of the websites we have recently launched. These represent just a few of the projects that have kept us busy lately.

Ozark Guidance is a non-profit mental health center committed to meeting the needs of the individual, family, and community for better mental health in Northwest Arkansas. Ozark Guidance is both a local and statewide leader in the area of mental health. This website runs on a Content Management System allowing Ozark Guidance staff to manage all areas of the website.

Shiloh Christian School is Northwest Arkansas’ premier private Christian school. This website is completely redesigned, and it is built on a Content Management System that allows Shiloh personnel to maintain all of the content on the site. We are currently working with the school to redesign their athletics site as well.

Houston Enzymes formulates and sells digestive enzyme products. As we have heard the testimonies of their loyal customers, it is obvious that the effects of these enzyme supplements are life-changing for many. This website features a custom-developed store, designed to meet the specific needs of this client. The website also includes a blog that allows customers to interact directly with Dr. Houston.

Greg and Erin Smalley are nationally known authors and speakers on the topic of marriage and relationships. We created this website to introduce visitors to the Smalleys in a fun and casual way. The website has already served as an encouragement to many couples through its many marriage-related resources.

John Brown University Graduate Studies and the JBU Advance Program offer programs for adult students in Northwest Arkansas, Fort Smith, and Little Rock. We redesigned these websites with the intention of turning casual browsers into prospective students by encouraging them to interact with the website through various means. We are also currently working with the JBU adult programs to solidify their brand and marketing messaging.

Olivet Baptist Church in Tulsa, OK, needed an improved website to better communicate with its congregation and with potential visitors. This website is also built on a Content Management System, allowing Olivet staff to add announcements, sermon audio, newsletters, photo galleries, and other content.

Today we have over 40. To each of our clients, we are indebted and thankful for your trust and business. Our hope is that we have exceeded your expectations on each and every project.

Here’s to another year of making you look good!

Today we welcome Israel Jernigan to our staff as a web developer.
